How often do I need to renew my Arizona medical marijuana card?
Arizona medical marijuana certificates are valid for one year and can be renewed online. We recommend renewing 30 days before your expiration date to avoid a lapse in coverage.
Renewal consultations with Leafwell cost $99, and you'll only be charged if approved.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
-
Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
-
Get approved and receive a new, current Physician Certification.
-
Complete the renewal process via your existing ADHS Individual Licensing Portal account.
-
They require an uploaded copy of your new Physician Certification (from Leafwell). You will also need to update your Medical Marijuana Patient Attestation via electronic signature or PDF upload.
-
-
ADHS will review your application and process the approval within 15 business days.
-
You'll receive an email from ADHS when your electronic card is accessible on the state's Individual Licensing Portal.
