Can I grow marijuana in Nevada with an MMJ Card?
Patients in Nevada can cultivate up to 12 plants if there is no dispensary in the county where they live or if there is no dispensary within 25 miles of their home address. If a dispensary later opens within these limits, patients may continue to cultivate cannabis if they do not allow their registration to lapse.
Patients who are unable to travel due to illness or lack of transportation are also allowed to grow their own plants.
Finally, if the dispensaries in their county do not supply the strain of marijuana necessary for a specific medical condition, patients can cultivate this strain for medical purposes.
