How often do I need to renew my Nevada Medical Marijuana Card?
Nevada medical marijuana certificates are valid for one or two years (determined by your healthcare provider) and can be renewed online. Leafwell patients will receive a 2-year certification by default. We recommend renewing 30 days before your expiration date to avoid a lapse in coverage.
A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $79 and you'll only be charged if approved.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
-
Sign in to your Leafwell account or register as a renewal patient here.
-
Speak to a Nevada-licensed provider online and get approved.
-
Request a patient application from the NV Medical Marijuana Program.
-
Send us your paperwork (documents@secure.leafwell.com) and your provider will sign the Attending Healthcare Provider Statement within 48 hours.
-
Submit your application to the state, pay the state registration fee, and receive your card in 7-10 days.
