How often do I need to renew my New Mexico certificate?
New Mexico medical marijuana certificates are valid for two years and can be renewed online.
Renewal consultations with Leafwell cost $99, and you'll only be charged if approved. Plus, when you renew with Leafwell, we'll send you a reminder 30 days before your certification expires so you have plenty of time to complete your renewal application with the state.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
- Sign in to Leafwell, or if you’re new to Leafwell, register as a renewal patient here.
- Speak to a New Mexico-licensed healthcare provider online and get approved.
- You will receive an email from the state within 24 hours to complete your state application with the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program.
- If your state card is still valid, you can continue using it.
- If your state card is expiring or has expired, you will receive your new digital card within 5 days.
