How often do I need to renew my Vermont Medical Marijuana Card?
Vermont medical marijuana certificates are valid for one or three years, depending on your qualifying condition, and can be renewed online. We recommend renewing 30 days before your expiration date to avoid a lapse in coverage.
Renewal consultations with Leafwell cost $99 and you'll only be charged if approved.
Here's a summary of the renewal process:
-
Sign in to your Leafwell account or register as a renewal patient here.
-
Speak with a Vermont-licensed physician online and get approved.
-
Download your Health Care Professional Verification Form immediately.
-
Log into the Vermont Medical Cannabis Program portal to submit your renewal application and $50 application fee.
-
Receive your new registry card in the mail in 30 business days.
