Maine State Process

Being A Medical Marijuana Patient in Maine:

1. The provider will register you with the state, print your physical certification on tamper-proof paper, and mail it to you. In addition, they will upload a digital image of your certification to Leafwell within 48 hours.

2. You will receive an email notification when the digital image is available for download.

3. The digital image should be sufficient proof of your certification at most dispensaries, allowing you to legally purchase cannabis until your physical certification arrives by mail within 5-7 days.

4. Please remember that you must bring either the digital image or the hard copy of your certificate and some ID with you in order to make a purchase at the dispensary.
