In Massachusetts, registered patients with a valid medical marijuana card can possess up to 10 ounces on a 60-day rolling period. For concentrate conversions, 1 gram = 5 grams of raw flower, so there are 50 grams of concentrate in a 10-ounce allotment.

Patients may also grow up to 12 flowering and 12 vegetative plants for personal use.

Recreational users can possess up to 1 ounce of marijuana on their person and up to 10 ounces at home. Adults 21 and older can grow up to six plants for personal use, or up to 12 plants for two or more adults.
