How often do I need to renew my Mississippi Medical Marijuana Card?

Please note: We are currently only seeing existing Leafwell patients for 6-month follow-ups. We are temporarily unable to see new patients in person or renewals. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Mississippi medical marijuana certifications are valid for one year. While your initial certification must be done through an in-person appointment, you can complete follow-ups and annual renewals online. We recommend renewing 30 days before your expiration date to avoid a lapse in coverage.

A renewal consultation with Leafwell costs $199 and you'll only be charged if approved.

Sign in to your Leafwell account or register as a renewal patient here.
Speak to a Mississippi-licensed provider, get approved, and your provider will complete your certification using your SSN.
Log into your account with the MS DOH and complete the state application within 60 days.
Receive your state approval and access your digital card to legally purchase cannabis from a licensed dispensary.
