Congratulations on getting approved for your medical certification. Here's a guide to what you need to do next.

Steps to get your card

1. Go to medmj.ehawaii.gov and Create a free Account
2. Log in and click 'Start an In-State Application'
3. Accept the terms and conditions and click 'Start an Application'
4. Fill in the physician's name - this will be in your approval email from Leafwell
5. Fill in your information as the patient
6. You have the option of adding a caregiver at this time
7. If you are planning to grow medical cannabis, you can do this here
8. Upload the patient (and caregiver) ID
   1. You can download a caregiver certificate and grower's certificate here, complete it and upload it again at this time
9. Complete the payment of $38.50 - it is non-refundable so make sure all of the details you have provided are correct
10. Once you have paid, the application will be submitted to the doctor for approval
11. Once approved, you will receive an email from the Department of Health letting you know that your application has been successful
12. Log in to download a digital copy of your card
